Meet the women behind the ministry
Lisa Martinez, founder & executive director
Lisa has spent much of her life as a teacher and missionary. She has an MA in Pastoral & Educational Studies from The Maryvale Institute in Birmingham, England. Her master’s dissertation was on St. John Paul II and his writings on the vocation and dignity of women. He has been the singular inspiration for the greenhouse for women and is Lisa’s guiding light. She is grateful and excited to be a part of this project!
Valerie Pokorny, trustee
Valerie is a graduate of Franciscan University of Steubenville (’06) and has been involved in various programs that celebrate and promote the feminine genius. She blogs at WhoGoesHerWay.com and lives with her husband, children and dog in San Antonio.
Elizabeth Corrales, trustee
Elizabeth is executive secretary at the law firm Atkins, Hollmann, Jones, Peacock, Lewis & Lyon, Inc., in Texas where she has been employed for 20+ years. She has raised two children and has four grandchildren. She enjoys running, watching Westerns and spending time with her grandkids.
